Background: It is important we identify cases of premalignant polyps and stratify patients according
to future colorectal cancer (CRC) risk to prevent CRC development. In 2020, the British
Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) published guidelines to tailor post-polypectomy
and post-CRC resection surveillance. The objective of our audit was to determine whether
our department was adhering to these guidelines.
