Advanced pelvic malignancy: The dawn of precision surgery

      Over the past two decades there has been a radical shift in outcomes and management of patients with advanced pelvic malignancy. Advances in chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy have shifted treatment paradigms, while surgical techniques have evolved and become more finessed. Advances in the understanding of pelvic malignancy and in technology bring a new dawn of precision surgery with increasing options for surgical cure and optimisation of quality of life. This Special Issue aims to capture the current evidence surrounding pelvic exenteration and advanced pelvic cancer.
