ESSO policy event “Time for Change: Addressing the value of surgical oncology in the treatment and care of cancer”
        Postponed due to the outbreak of the war in Ukraine this March, our policy event retunes with a new date. It will take place on 26 October 2022 between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. CEST, in person at the European Parliament and virtually.
        The event will be hosted by Mr. Cristian Busoi, Member of Parliament, Chair of the Challenge Cancer. Relevant stakeholders including EU policy makers and representatives from European cancer organisations, together with ESSO opinion leaders will gather together to discuss the crucial role played by surgical oncology in cancer care to reduce the increasing cancer burden and to ensure a patient-centered care system in Europe.
