Case study of patient receiving Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness (CHAM) Programme For A Severely Needle-Phobic Patient Requiring Bone Marrow Biopsy

      Background-Evidence suggests clinical hypnotherapy (CH) can reduce pain (and costs) associated with medical procedures and an effective intervention for reducing anxiety. Mindfulness practice demonstrates efficacy in reducing anxiety related conditions and increasing patient self-efficacy. CHAM offers a holistic therapeutic intervention.
