Deprivation is not associated with increased severity of disease at presentation in primary hyperparathyroidism (pHPT)

      Introduction: Socioeconomic deprivation has been linked to worsening outcomes in some surgical conditions, such as oesophageal malignancy. The National Assembly of Wales has developed a ranking of socioeconomic deprivation based on eight indices (IMD). The aim of this study was to assess the effects of socioeconomic deprivation on disease severity at presentation of primary hyperparathyroidism (pHPT).
