ESSO Training Fellowships
The ESSO Education Committee is pleased to offer one major fellowship of 10.000 EUR and 5 standard fellowships of 2.000 EUR for young surgeons to visit a specialist centre and develop their experience or be trained in new techniques. The major fellowship is aimed for a training of 6 months and over whereas the standard fellowships are designed for a one-to-three month training.

European Society of Surgical Oncology General Assembly
ESSO members are invited to bookmark the date of the ESSO General Assembly 2010, which will take place on Thursday 17th September at 18.45 in the frame of the ESSO 2010 Congress in Bordeaux. The agenda will be available on the ESSO website as of mid-August: www.essoweb.org
European Society of Surgical Oncology Membership
Membership of ESSO includes a subscription to the EJSO and entitles the members to reduced registration rates for participation in the biennial ESSO Congress in even years and the ECCO-ESMO Congress in odd years as well as in courses designed or supported by ESSO (cf. calendar of events). The fee amounts to 120 EUR (60 for trainees under 35 certified by a letter from the head of their department). The membership fee can be paid online through the ESSO website www.essoweb.org.
